Application Guide

 

All foreign students who come to Singapore to study full-time need to have a student pass issued by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). Only the following are exempted from applying a Student's Pass:

  • Dependant's Pass holders studying in Government, Government-aided, Independent, Kindergartens or Foreign System Schools;

  •  Immigration Exemption Order holders.

Applicant submits Student Contract and the following documents to facilitate the application process.

  1. 2 copies of each form – 16, V36 and V39S (can be obtained from ICA website - http://app.ica.gov.sg/serv_visitor/download.asp)
  2. English Translation & Notary of Applicant’s Birth Certificate
  3. English Translation & Notary of Applicant’s Graduation Certificate & Academic Transcripts
  4. 3 Recent Passport-sized Photographs (3.5” x 4.5”)
  5. Photocopy of Applicant’s Valid Passport
  6. If applicant is a national from the visa-required countries, documentary proof of financial ability in the form of bank statements/fixed deposit accounts/savings accounts.
  7. Duly signed Student Escrow Confirmation or Certificate of Student Insurance

 

*All the original documents are to be produced for verification purpose.

Note: Student’s Pass application will take 4 – 8 weeks

 

Singapore Immigration and Authority Checkpoints Authority also require a security deposit upon successful student’s pass application.

TeleLingua informs students of successful student’s pass application

Students make payment of all tuition and non-tuition fees

 

Made payment of course fees to School at least 2 weeks prior to course commencement through either of the following forms:-

 

    1. Cash payment at School
    2. Cheque payment to “TeleLingua Educational Centre Pte Ltd” (for Insurance Scheme).
