Preparatory Course for Thai Language GCE 'O' Level Examination

Primary Level
This is a part-time course that enables Thai students studying in Singapore Government Schools to advance their proficiency in Thai language through continual exposure and usage so that they are able to sit for the Thai Language GCE 'O' level examination (an Approved Foreign Language by the Singapore Ministry of Education) in lieu of the official Mother Tongue at GCE 'O' Level.
Secondary Level
The preparatory course is specifically designed to cover all areas to be tested in the GCE 'O' Level Thai Language. The levels of the courses range from Secondary 1 to Secondary 4 levels.
At Secondary One and Two Levels, the courses aim to lay the foundation in reading, writing, speaking and listening for the more mature use of the language.
At Secondary Three and Four Levels, the teaching will be more examination- oriented as students will be trained to tackle assessments and examination papers. Students are also taught the techniques to translate Thai to English and vice versa.
